Northern Michigan is one of the largest vacation home markets in the country. Recently NAR completed a study that defines “Vacation Home Counties” and how properties in those counties have been outperforming non-vacation markets. It should be no surprise that with its abundance of beautiful fresh water lakes and woods, Michigan’s vacation counties are exceeding national averages for vacation markets.
